K2 Kung Fujas, bought these on a whim, but they’re too soft for me (I’m 96kg). They’re an older ski (2013 from memory), but with very little use (c. 2 weeks). For someone lighter than me, these are fun in powder, but carve nicely too.
Intended as a backcountry freestyle ski, these not as light as a pure touring ski, but have more versatility. Pre-cut skins can still be found for them.
This is for the skis only! They’re currently fitted with alpine bindings (as seen in pics), but I will be keeping those.
Theses are currently with me in Cheshire, from where they can be collected, or posted at cost. However I will be in Chamonix from the 11th Jan until 8th Feb, so could figure something out.
Hi Lawrence, these look interesting, I’m 80kg so should match better. What size boot are the bindings set for?
Thanks, Ed
Hi Ed,
Currently mounted for a BSL of 315mm. There’s some adjustment possible, of course.
Thanks,
Lawrence
I’ve just checked and my boots are 355mm. Will they stretch this far? (I’d probably put my touring bindings on for longer term use but I’m off to the Alps on 1 January so no time to sort out before that). Actually thinking about it, I might well be able to meet you to collect while I am out - staying in Les Menuires first week, with a car. Ed
Hi Ed,
Off the top of my head, I’d say 355mm would be too big; the heel pice is in the centre of its travel, so there won’t be the 40mm you’d need. I will check when I get home.
But where in the UK are you? Maybe we can figure out something before you leave for France.
What bindings are you thinking of? Someone was giving a set of Markers, which may suit.
Feel free to DM me.
Cheers
Hi, did these find a home in the end?
No, they’re still available
