Does anyone have experience of the possibilities for day tours from the Elfin Lakes hut in British Columbia? We have a family ski trip to Whistler in Feb and I'd like to tack on a 2-3 day tour in that vicinity.
Thanks, Simon

Backcountry Canada has a bit of beta here http://backcountryskiingcanada.com/Elfin%20Lakes
Try plan your trip on a weekday it'll be a lot quiter as the weekend warriors swarm the huts on the weekends.
Another alternative is Keith Hut up towards Duffey Lake, great terrain, glaciated and tree skiing.

Thanks Owen,
I'd seen the Backcountry Canada site a while ago but hadn't found the routes section. That's helpful.
