This is a PH Designs Wafer down jacket, ultralight (210g) but using 1000 fillpower down, so warm too! It takes very little space.
It’s been brilliant! I’m not a particularly cold person, so this has been an emergency layer, mostly living in my bag and coming out on longer stops. It would be too warm as a mid layer, for me. This is a brilliant option for the chronically cold, weight weenies, or those heading to the chillier parts of the world.
For guidance, I’m 6’, 44” chest and 90Kg; the fit is comfortable over typical ski touring layers, on a cold day. But, I should have gone for a custom size; being short in the leg and long in the back, I find it just a little bit too short.
It’s been recently cleaned by my local Rab service centre, and comes with the optional hood and stuff sack.
