snow conditions

As I'm new here. I would like to know if there is a place for discussing snow conditions

For instance I have just returned from Davos in Eastern switzerland and found the snow conditions testing. The snow of the last fall was cold falling on a frozen base . On North facing slopes snow slides were common

It apperas things have warmed up a bit ..so wet snow on 'normal' base?

Anyone have any thoughts on what conditions may prevail by end of month?
